Financial Partners Federal Credit Union is committed to making available financial products and services that will meet our members financial needs and allow them to reach their financial goals. Protecting personal information and using it in a manner that is consistent with our member’s expectations is a high priority for everyone associated with Financial Partners Federal Credit Union.
You provide important information about yourself when you do business with Financial Partners Federal Credit. This information is important because it helps us get a better picture of your needs, provide better service, and complete our transactions more effectively. The federal agencies’ Regulation P requires us to inform you of the types of information we collect, as well as how and with whom we share the information.
CATEGORIES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We will only collect the personal information about you in response to your request for services from us and what is necessary to conduct our business, in accordance with applicable law. This information helps us verify your identity, manage our relationship with you and develop products and services that meet your financial needs. We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources: • Information received from you on applications or forms; • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others; • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency;

We will only share information to administer the products and services we provide, when required to do so by the government, or when we partner with other businesses to offer a broader array of products and services. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our members or former members to anyone except as permitted by law.
CATEGORIES OF PARTIES TO WHOM WE DISCLOSE
Financial Partners Federal Credit Union will partner only with businesses that follow strict confidentiality requirements. We will not sell member information to telemarketing firms. The businesses that we do select will offer products designed to enhance our member’s economic well being. Under no circumstances will we authorize these firms to charge our member’s accounts without the member’s express consent.
SERVICE PROVIDER/JOINT MARKETING EXCEPTION
We may disclose information we collect as described in Section 1 of this notice, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
As you expect from us, we maintain strong security controls to ensure that your personal information contained in our files and computers is protected. Where appropriate, we use security-coding techniques to protect against unauthorized access to personal records, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of communications and transactions, and to keep information we have about you confidential whenever possible. |
