Financial Partners Federal Credit Union (FPFCU) is committed to making available financial products and services that will meet our members financial needs and allow them to reach their financial goals.  Protecting personal information and using it in a manner that is consistent with our members' expectations is a high priority for everyone associated with FPFCU.  You provide information about yourself when you do business with FPFCU.  This information is important because it helps us get a better understanding of your needs, provide better serives, and complete your transactions more effectively. 

What does Financial Partners Federal Credit Union do with your personal information?

Financial companies choose how they share your personal information.  Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing.  Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share and protect your personal information.  Please read the following notice carefully to understand what we do.

The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us.  This information can include: Social Security number and income, payment history, credit history, account balances, and overdraft history.  When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.

We collect your personal information when you open an account, deposit money, pay your bills, apply for a loan, or use a credit or debit card.  We also collect your personal information from others such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.  To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law.  These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings to ensure the accuracy and integrity of communications and transactions and to keep information we have about you confidential whenever possible. 

Federal law gives you the right to limit sharing for affiliates' everday business purposes such as information about your credit worthiness or information for affiliates and/or nonaffiliates to market to you.  State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.


Definitions

Affiliates- companies related by common ownership or control.  They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.  FPFCU has no affiliates.

Nonaffiliates- companies not related by common ownership or contral.  They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.  FPFCU does not share with non-afiiliates so they can market to you.

Joint marketing- a formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.  Our joint marketing partners include insurance companies.
